➡️TIP OF THE WEEK
HOW TO GET PREPARED FOR A JOB INTERVIEW
The number one tip I’d give anyone going into a job interview is this: do your “homework” and research the company and the interviewer in advance!
As a recruiter who handles the first interview, it’s really frustrating when a candidate knows nothing about the company (and didn’t even bother to look it up 🤡). This is especially true if you’re proactively applying for the position.
It might sound obvious, but many people skip this step and walk into an interview unprepared. From my years of experience interviewing candidates, I can tell you: this is where most candidates fail in the hiring process. They don’t even make it to the next stage! 😭
Doing your “homework” shows how much you’re interested in the role and gives you a starting point to understand their business and culture, but this is not everything…
